The counselling room · AI Lead Scorer
Call the most interested families first.
During peak season a counsellor may hold 400 open enquiries. The AI Lead Scorer reads engagement signals such as fee page visits, brochure downloads, WhatsApp replies and questions asked, and ranks the list each morning with a plain reason beside every score.

How it works
AI Lead Scorer, step by step.
- 1
Signals are collected
Website visits, form answers, message replies, call outcomes and visit bookings are recorded on the student's timeline.
- 2
Intent is scored
A model trained on your past seasons scores each enquiry from 0 to 100 for likelihood to apply.
- 3
Reasons are shown
Each score shows the signals behind it, such as 'Fees page x3, asked about hostel'.
- 4
Counsellors decide
The list is a suggestion. Counsellors can call anyone, and every family still receives a response.
What is included
Everything inside AI Lead Scorer.
Intent score
A single number from 0 to 100, refreshed as new signals arrive.
Plain-language reasons
Counsellors see why an enquiry ranks high, so they can start the call with the right topic.
Trained on your seasons
The model learns from your own past enquiries and admissions, by course and campus.
Going-cold alerts
High-intent enquiries with no contact for 24 hours are flagged to the counsellor and manager.
Fairness checks
Personal characteristics are excluded from the model inputs and score distributions are reviewed each season.
No admission decisions
Scores never feed eligibility, merit lists or seat allocation.
Signals the scorer reads
Only behaviour that shows interest in your institution is used.
- Pages visited on your website, such as fees, hostel and placements
- Brochure downloads and email opens
- Replies on WhatsApp and questions asked
- Call outcomes recorded by counsellors
- Campus visit booked or attended
- Application started or abandoned
Signals the scorer never reads
These are excluded from the model by design and cannot be added as inputs.
- Caste, category or religion
- Gender
- Guesses about family income
- Home address or neighbourhood
- Name, photo or language spoken
- Any other personal characteristic
Student fairness and responsible AI
Rules that protect every applicant.
Engagement signals only
Scores read forms, page visits, replies and questions. They never use caste, religion, gender, income guesses or any other personal characteristic.
Staff decide admissions
Eligibility, merit and reservation rules are applied by your admissions staff. The AI only suggests who to call first.
Contact only after an enquiry
Families are contacted only after they enquire, can opt out at any time, and calling hours are limited to reasonable times.
Student data stays private
Many applicants are minors. Their data is used only for your admissions, kept private and never sold or shared for marketing.
Questions
About AI Lead Scorer
Does the AI decide admissions?
No. Admission decisions follow your merit and eligibility rules and are made by your staff. The scorer only helps counsellors decide who to call first.
What if we have no past data?
In the first season the scorer uses a starting model based on engagement signals alone, then learns from your own results as admissions are confirmed.
Can a low-score family be ignored?
Every enquiry still receives an acknowledgement and stays in a counsellor's queue. The score changes order, not whether a family is answered.
Orientation day, Session 2027
The hall is almost full.
One seat is still waiting for you.
That orange seat is the one you are still chasing: the enquiry that went cold, the call that came too late, the family that never heard back. Let's fill it this season.
